🚨About Scams
What are the most common scams?▼
Common scams include: National ID renewal scams, fake bank SMS messages, job offer scams, investment fraud, fake police calls, utility disconnection threats, and delivery fee scams. Always verify through official channels.
I received an SMS from my bank asking for OTP. Is it real?▼
🚨 NO! Banks NEVER ask for OTP codes via SMS, WhatsApp, or phone calls. This is 100% a scam. Your bank already has your OTP - they send it to you. Never share OTP codes with anyone.
Can scammers use fake video calls?▼
Yes! Scammers use fake meeting links (fake Zoom, Google Meet) to steal information. They may also use deepfake technology. Always verify meeting links, never share screens showing banking apps, and be suspicious if the caller keeps their camera off.
🛡️Protection
How can I protect myself from scams?▼
1) Never share OTP codes, 2) Verify all links through official apps, 3) Be suspicious of urgency and threats, 4) Call official numbers directly (not from SMS), 5) Use ScamCheck before clicking unknown links, 6) Trust your instincts - if it seems too good, it is.
I already sent money to a scammer. What should I do?▼
Act immediately! 1) Call your bank's fraud hotline, 2) Report to local authorities, 3) Do not send more money, 4) Collect all evidence (chats, receipts), 5) Use our emergency page for contact numbers.
📝Reporting
How do I report a scam?▼

Can I report scams anonymously?▼
